Streams With Low Solids Loading (<200 ppm) And High

Durco Tubular Filters are designed
for continuous operation with high flow
rates in applications with low solids
loadings. There are 4 tubular filter
models with different materials of
construction for different applications:
- TE Series Tubular Filters
- Full Stainless Steel construction
for continuous filtering of particle
sizes down to 1 micron
- PC Series Tubular Filters
- Full Stainless Steel construction
for continuous filtering with
submicron particle retention to 0.1
micron
- PTE Lined Tubular Filters
- Carbon Steel construction. All
wetted parts are fluorocarbon lined
for outstanding resistance to
chemical attack. Filtration to 1
micron
- PVC Tubular Filters -
Full PVC construction for continuous
filtering of water or mildly
aggressive fluids down to 1 micron

Durco Pressure Leaf
Filters are available in either wet cake
(sluicing) or dry cake (vibrating)
discharge models, and are designed for
high flow rates and batch operation
typically in applications with 2% solids
loadings. Higher solids loadings (~6%)
are possible depending on the specific
application.

available in 2 configurations with
respect to their tank orientation: |

- utilize a horizontal tank, vertical
leaf configuration and maximize the

| Durco Enviro-Dri Sludge
Dryers are designed for supplemental
dewatering of sludge cake (>25 wt%
solids) up to 90%, greatly reducing
waste volume and weight. |

The Enviro-Dri
Sludge Dryer is typically used in
conjunction with a filter press where
the filter press discharges its cake
directly into the dryer. This integrated
design provides a small footprint.
Low-pressure steam (25 psi) contained
in a steam jacket provides heating
energy while the sludge cake is mixed
within the dryer.
Manual or hydraulic operation is
available for inlet and outlet doors. |
